About NorthernArt

NorthernArt is a new community art initiative from Northern Rail looking for partners in the private and public sectors that support the aims of the initiative - to bring companies or organisations together with young people in a unique way.

We are seeking businesses, local authorities, government agencies and any other organisations to use young people’s artwork across a variety of publicity and corporate materials.

Seeing their art being used would meet the need of most young people to make their mark in society in a positive rather than negative way.

Using a young person’s artwork enables your organisation to demonstrate a commitment to helping to promote the well being of the community in which you operate or do business.

The artwork can be used copyright-free in posters, adverts, display panels, websites, community newsletters, point of sale material, literature, give-aways or vehicle stickers. Click here to find out how to order the artwork and for conditions of use.

Go to the Gallery to see the artwork that is currently available and make regular visits as the site is being constantly updated with new images.

NorthernArt is a new community initiative from Northern, the country’s largest train operator that aims to divert youngsters from anti-social behaviour such as graffiti spraying into art-based activities that will benefit themselves and their local community.
