‘My Liverpool’ Art Competition Winners

 

NorthernArt’s ‘My Liverpool’ Art Competition was organised by Northern Rail working in partnership with Starbucks, Liverpool City Council and National Museums Liverpool.

 

Pupils from schools in Liverpool were asked to produce a picture of what they love about Liverpool or what they think is an important environmental issue for the city. The competition had two age categories: 5-12 years and 12-18 years and two theme categories: ‘Loving Liverpool’ and ‘Liverpool Environment’.

There were first, second and third prizes for each age/theme category with twelve prize winners in total. The prize package for the four first prize winners consisted of:

•   The winning pictures to be displayed in rotation at all Starbucks stores in Liverpool
•   A selection of goods from Starbucks
•   A Family Railcard from Northern Rail
•   Publicity for prize winners and their schools organised by Liverpool City Council

In addition the schools of the four first prize winners received £100 worth of art materials provided by Northern Rail. The second and third prize winners will have their pictures displayed in rotation at all Starbucks stores in Liverpool and receive a selection of goods from Starbucks. To see tour programme for prize winners artwork click here.
